This feature helps managers by pushing emails through SEC-Hub to users with reminders that specific interfaces are missing updates according to their deadlines.
Set a Deadline
To set a new deadline click "+ create deadline". Name the deadline and enter dates for both the actual deadline and the reminder being sent beforehand.
Enter the expected progress level for the time of the deadline and finish off writing a description of the deadline - this is not mandatory.
Click 'save' and you will see the new deadline added to the default list of deadlines.
Remove a Deadline
Deadlines can be removed by clicking the menu on the right side of the bar, appearing when hovering the mouse.
Click 'delete' and afterwards confirm the action.
My Deadlines
Users can view deadlines associated with their interfaces by selecting 'My Deadlines'. Search for keywords, timeframe or sort by status being active or completed.
When clicking on a specific deadline, you will enter the page for the specific deadline and see a list of all interfaces associated with this deadline. You'll be able to see their respective owners and by that know who to contact if any interfaces have not reached the expected progress level.
All Deadlines
Users can see all deadlines associated with a project in the 'Default View'.
Make sure it is cleared of any filters that might have been used to search for specific deadlines earlier on.
Clicking on a deadline will guide the user to a page, where all associated interfaces are listed.
Emails
Users can receive two types of email notifications. One is for reminders up until the deadline and the other type is notifications when a deadline is overdue and action from the user is therefore required. SEC-Hub users can receive a maximum of 2 emails daily and they are sent at 8 am CET.
I don't want to receive emails
Users can actively choose to not receive email reminders and overdue notifications from SEC-Hub by following these steps:
1) Navigate to "my deadlines"
2) Find the deadline which you wish not to get emails from.
3) Click on the (bell) on the right side to opt out.
