This guide will take you through the import and export feature.

Import

The import feature enables you to import data from existing Excel spreadsheets. In order to import data from an Excel sheet, you will need to strictly adhere to an exact template like the one below. Download the template here or through the link under Import inside the SEC-Hub.

Importing an Excel file

Importing an Excel file is only feasible while creating a context. When you have typed in a name and description and selected a syntax, you can import a .xml-file (excel file). Locate it in the sidebar under Import.

  1. Either locate the project or create a new project

  2. Click Add Context

  3. Locate the Import section

  4. Click Select a file

  5. Upload the file

Note:
- It is not possible to Import a structure, which is not supported by the Syntax and Classification tables.
- All exported structures can be imported.
- Follow the guidelines presented in the import template

Export

The export feature enables you to export any structure created in the CORE and SIMO modules.

Exporting a structure

Exporting a structure is done through the export button located in the top drawer on the left-hand side:

  1. Click the export button

  2. Choose if you want to export "Systems" = the CORE structure
    or "Interfaces" The SIMO grid.

  3. Click Export

    1. Wait for it to assemble the data for download

4. A notification dot will appear on the Notification button. You will get notified once the assembly is complete, and you can start downloading the csv or xml-file.

5. Click download, and the .csv-file will download to your computer.
