Archiving projects, contexts, syntaxes and classification tables.

Archiving gives the opportunity to "hide" e.g. a project if you no longer work on the specific project or have created a project by mistake.

Archiving is somewhat the same as deleting. But with archiving, the user always has the ability to go back and view archived elements.

The user also has the ability to restore archived elements and continue using them if necessary.

How to ARCHIVE Projects, Contexts, Syntaxes, and Classification tables

  1. Edit details

  2. Archive

Note:
- Archiving Projects will archive all underlying contexts.

- Archiving a Syntax will block the context(s), which uses the archived Syntax.
- Archiving a Classification Table will lock the Contexts, which uses the archived Classification table.

- Export and the filter function are the only features that work when an element is archived.

How to RESTORE Projects, Contexts, Syntaxes, and Classification Tables

  1. Open filters tab

  2. [Check] - Show archived content

  3. Apply

  4. Edit details

  5. Restore

Note:
- Restoring a Syntax or Classification Table will restore it to its previous state Unpublished/Published.
