This article is directed at Admin users in the SEC-Hub since the content described within the article can only be accessed by someone with the role of Admin.

How to access the Users page

As a requirement, you need to have the role of Admin. Once that role is granted to you, a cogwheel will appear in the top right corner.

This menu contains the Admin-specific pages, such as the 'Classification', 'Syntax and 'Users', and the route back to projects.
Select 'Users' and you will be routed to the view displayed below.

The Users Page

This where you administer all the user roles that are added to your company's SEC-Hub stack.

Filtering on the Users page

You can search for users using the search bar. A minimum of three characters is required by the search function. The section also contains a filter menu, where one or more projects can be selected. If you want to look at archived projects, just mark the checkbox located in the top right corner.

Assigning Roles

To assign the Admin role to other users, use the leftmost column, as illustrated in the picture below. Once the Admin role is granted, the ability to assign project-specific roles will be deactivated as Admin is a global role.

If you wish to assign project-specific roles, simply click the '+ Add Role' button, and you'll see a list of all the roles you can assign. If you want to change a user's role, just click on their current role, and the list will reappear.

If a customized role is chosen, a side panel will appear on the right, allowing you to create the specific permission combination you desire. As depicted below, this panel will show the project and user to which you are currently assigning this custom permission. Within the Custom Permission settings, you'll have the ability to configure both write and read permissions for every context and trade study.

If you wish to obtain a comprehensive view of a single user's permissions across all projects, you can simply click on that user's name in the second column. This action will bring up the User Overview panel, which displays all the projects and their corresponding roles assigned to that user, providing a convenient summary. Additionally, you can adjust the user's role directly within this panel using the buttons located in the role column.

If you're unable to locate your project, use the arrow located in the project header on the right side, as illustrated in the image below.

A maximum of four projects per page is shown to enhance performance. You can utilize the arrows in the header to navigate back and forth between your projects. If you are still unable to locate your project, please tick the 'Show Archived' option and recheck. It's advisable to use project filtering if you already know what you're looking for.
