This quick guide is divided into three sections that will get you started.

  1. The Help-Center

  2. Project & Context

  3. Creating a Structure

1) The Help-Center

You can follow this link, which directs you to the help-center or search through the articles by clicking the icon in the right bottom corner.

The help-center consists of different articles that will assist and guide you around the SEC-Hub.

A project is the prime subject of your overall project. A project is a container for your contexts, whereas contexts contain an aspect specific structure.

You start by creating a project. Once a project has been made you can create contexts.

  1. Add Project

    1. Name

    2. Description

    3. Create Project

  2. Add Context

    1. Name

    2. Description

    3. Optional: Choose SIMO classification table

    4. Create Context

Once you have created a project with a context, click the context and you will enter the Common Reference Editor (CORE).

Now you can start building a structure within the context. How you build the structure depends on the syntax chosen.

You start by adding a system to the root element (the box with the name of the context). Press the "+" button and type in a system. You can then add a system element to the existing system or create a new system.

It's all up to you now! If you need more help on how to build and modify your structure in the Common Reference Editor, then follow this link.

If you would like to have an example, then take a look at the Car Wash article. It will go into detail on all of the above, give you basic information about the standard and the Common Reference Editor features.
